Rather than travel all the way to Fremantle, it was a blessing to be able to access the physio closer to me. I’m 86 and I was having to go into the hospital at Fremantle for my physio. When my physio was on leave, I was only getting 30-minute appointments, which—it’s so much for me to catch the bus and the train—and I only got half an hour. My son informed me that I could go to public physio closer, at Riverton. That was once a week, and that was for six weeks, and I’ve been over the moon with it.
I go in for one hour, and so it’s a bit of bike, a bit of this and that. It’s for my knees.
I’ve been very happy, very, very happy with the physio department from Fremantle. I’ve been very happy.
They are physios—you get a different one all the time. There were about half a dozen physios. I start by getting on the bike and then they come and show me what to do.
I’m just over the moon I don’t have to travel all the way to Fremantle Hospital. This one is just around the corner.
I’ve been very happy with the service, and I need to wait six months, then get another appointment to have six more weeks.
