"Uniting War Memorial Hospital Sydney Rehabilitation"

About: War Memorial Hospital

(as the patient),

I had a serious encephalitis which led to a prolonged ceisure. After being treated in the hospital for two months, I was transferred to War Memorial Hospital for rehabilitation.

It was the most difficult time in my life when I had to deal with the fact that I was no longer the healthy, strong and capable myself.  Fortunately, I received the most thoughtful care during my stay in the War Memorial Hospital. The doctors there not only helped with my recovery but also looked after my mental health. They expressed extreme concern for my wellbeing and visited my room to check how I was doing even when they were not on duty, I am deeply grateful for the family-like care I received from all the doctors and staff esp. Dr Nelson and Dr Emma.
