"Care at Mt Beauty Hospital"

About: Mount Beauty Hospital

(as the patient),

It all started on a Thursday when I was driving a truck from Melbourne to Falls Creek for Bicycle Network’s Three Peaks. I noticed a blister on my right ankle – just a blister. By Friday, it seemed ok. By Saturday it was red.

Attended the on-site first aid and discovered it was infected. So off to Mt Beauty, thinking I was going to get a script for antibiotics. I saw a Dr Jeff, who I was extremely impressed by, who strongly advised I needed IV to make the recovery quicker.

So finished up staying in from Sat to Monday. All the staff I saw were great – the food was excellent and I had a nice peaceful time waiting.

Thank you so much!

Dear indiakm86,

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience with us.

We’re very pleased to hear that your care journey, from the moment you arrived at Mt Beauty through to your recovery, was a positive one. It’s wonderful to know that Dr Jeff and our nursing team made a strong impression and that you felt well looked after during your stay.

We’re also glad you enjoyed the meals and found the environment peaceful and supportive; these are exactly the kinds of experiences we strive to provide for every patient.

Your kind words have been shared with the team, and they were truly appreciated. We wish you continued good health and hope you’re back on your feet and doing well.
