I would like to express my heartfelt appreciation for the excellent care I have received at Broome Hospital over the past week.

I was recently admitted through the ER for an emergency excision and drainage of a nasty abscess under GA, and discharged the next day. I have visited ER and the wound care clinic daily for packing / dressing the wound. Tomorrow will be my last day in the wound clinic as I am recommencing my travels (in a camper), so I wanted to make sure to send this email to say THANK YOU to the Broome team.

The Broome healthcare team is exceptional. I have been a nurse executive for the last 30 years, so I have insight and appreciation for excellence in hospitals (and also, when things are not so great). I observed a very strong team spirit, seamless transitions of care, great communication between staff, and a genuine caring attitude. Every interaction with the medical, nursing and admin team was respectful and compassionate. Kudos to the housekeeping team, WOW .. they are amazing, the hospital is spotless!

SO ..Thank you to the team. I felt so 'Cared For'. You are all amazing health professionals.
