"Waiting in Emergency"

About: Prince of Wales Hospital / Emergency Department

(as a relative),

Six hours waiting in Emergency with an elderly person in their 80s after a fall. On blood thinners and finally see doctor five hours in who thought we had had a scan and it was clear. Explained we have had no scan so still we wait, six hours since 4pm arrival.

 Think we can do better.

Dear Caringformyparent,,

Thank you for taking the time to write to us and share your concerns regarding the waiting time to be seen by a medical officer in our Emergency Department. We are sorry there was a delay in seeing this elderly patient and we would like to hear more from you regarding this incident. Can you please contact us on the following email address, and we can organize for our compliant officer to contact you:

Kind regards

Barbara
