"Excellent, thorough care"

About: Broome Health Campus / Emergency Department Broome Health Campus / General ward

(as the patient),

I was recently admitted for a few nights with pneumonia & found all aspects of my care to be thorough. My symptoms & story was thoroughly assessed by the ED doctors, including student doctor Ben who showed great respect & attention to detail. The ward doctors explained everything clearly & included me in decision making. The nurses who cared for me were warm & compassionate, happy to help. The support staff were kind & caring, especially the kitchen staff who made my partner & children feel comfortable & welcome when visiting. 

My care continued after discharge in the hands of the very knowledgeable physician team. Thanks to Dr Courtney for again thoroughly investigating & explaining my situation.

Thanks to everyone at Broome Hospital for the amazing work you do!
