(as a parent/guardian),

I just wanted to say Thankyou to the Nurses and Dr Ed at Geraldton Health Campus ED. My son was there recently with abdominal pain from a sports injury. Even though it was insanely busy the nurses and Dr Ed were wonderful and extremely thorough. We would also like to thank Dr Emily from the surgical team for being lovely and explaining everything to us.

Thank you for taking the time to share your son’s experience with us on Care Opinion.

It was truly uplifting to read how well he was cared for during what must have been a very stressful time for your family. We strive to provide not only high-quality medical care but also genuine compassion and support to every patient and their loved ones—and it’s wonderful to know that this was reflected in your experience.

I will make sure that Dr. Ed, Dr. Emily, and the entire Emergency Department nursing team receive your kind words. I’ll also take this opportunity to personally thank them for their dedication and the outstanding care they provided to your son.

We all hope he’s feeling much better and that he’ll soon be back doing what he loves—especially getting back into the sports he enjoys so much.
