About: Swan Hill District Health Medical Centre

(as a staff member posting for a patient/service user),

I had an appointment at Swan Hill Primary Health Medical Clinic. I live in another town nearby and was referred to a surgeon there. It was very hard for me to find the right place as the address is McCrae Street, but the entrance is Splatt Street. It would be good to have signage on McCrae Street so you know to go around the corner, and more signage so you can clearly see that is the right place for the surgeons. I feel its especially confusing when I had been to the surgeons across the road in McCrae Stree years ago. I was lucky a passerby helped me.

We apologise for any confusion and possible delay caused by the signage and the clinic’s entrance location, it can be frustrating especially when navigating an unfamiliar area or expecting the entrance to be where the address is listed.

We appreciate you raising your concerns with us and we will look into options for additional signage on the top window panels on Mcrae street directing patients to the main entrance from McCrae Street to Splatt street and around the facility to help patients locate the entrance easily.
