"Aboriginal Midwife GP at KEMH"

About: King Edward Memorial Hospital / Aboriginal Midwifery Group Practice (Aboriginal MGP)

(as the patient),

It was great having my own Aboriginal Midwife. From pregnancy to labour to Birth I don't think I'd be able to go through that process again without having an Aboriginal Midwife GP to be there for me. It was a very friendly experience from the start and it also gave me confidence to know I was doing the right thing in labour, at the birth of my newborn and also during the home visits. If it was a stranger for each of those experiences I don't think I'd be happy at all but thanks to AMGP it was a really good experience and I can't wait to have another baby and hopefully be a part of the Aboriginal Midwife GP :)

Dear woodpeckerkx73

Congratulations on the birth of your baby! It sounds like you had an incredible experience with the Aboriginal Midwifery Group Practice (AMGP) at King Edward Memorial Hospital. It is lovely to hear how the support of your midwife gave you such confidence – the continuity of care that you received clearly had a strong positive impact on you and your family.

We will pass on your thanks to the AMGP team, who will no doubt be grateful to hear how much their care meant to you and your family.

Best wishes

Delaney
