Puzzled. The staff that did the procedure were friendly and considerate during the procedure, but at the end I was given a number of colostomy bags, with no instructions. The leg bag was fitted too loose, so I had a couple of days of discomfort with the bag around my aches, pulling on the catheter. It was only after Googling that I discovered that the leg bag should be fitted to my thigh, and that the tapes were stretchy. I also found that I had larger bags with no straps for night use.
