I had an appointment at the Breastfeeding Centre following the birth of my second baby. I had some difficulties feeding the first time and it was really tough. I wanted to be proactive at making my next breastfeeding journey more positive. My consultant was very friendly and knowledgeable. I felt instantly comfortable. She was able to affirm the things I was doing correctly and offer small tweaks and advice to optimise the feed. I left knowing what to do going forward and how to access additional support if needed when I return to my rural home. I feel so much more confident in breastfeeding now and if I need anything else I can make contact again.
