"Judgemental experience"

About: PathWest Mandurah Collection Centre

(as the patient),

Went for my annual blood test, normally I get one of the lovely staff members, however this time I got a different staff member! I felt that they were rude, arrogant and downright judgemental! I know im a large person, but, I believe that being told that's why they couldn't find my veins because im too 'fat' is inexcusable! I walked out in tears! In future I'll walk out before I let them bleed me again!

I am very disappointed to read of your experience with our staff member on duty at that time and I wish to sincerely apologise for how you were treated and how you were made to feel during this visit. Each day we provide our services to over 12,000 Western Australians and I would like to reassure you that what you described is not at all representative of our staff or practice. I would be grateful if you would consider providing us with further details of your visit, so that we can follow up with the individual staff member who saw you.
