Practice manager at local primary care centre would not clearly answer my written enquiries about whether my personal medical file with them had been viewed by anyone other than doctors/nurses directly treating me, and any admin staff needing to access it in order to upload results etc.
I kept just receiving responses about the laws they need to abide by (which I already know about) and official practice policies, but no clarification on whether the practice's electronic logs verified that all this has been adhered to.
Given the number of emails that have been sent by me - and seemingly evasive responses sent by them - I am now quite concerned that they have no ability to monitor this kind of thing because of subpar software, and are not revealing this to their clientele.
Hopefully I will soon get a response that will help avoid a HADSCO complaint.
