I had a full hysterectomy earlier this month and the medical team and nurses looking after me during my recovery were absolutely amazing, they managed my pain expertly and supported me all the way through, I could not have asked for better treatment and care.

I was quietly terrified when I arrived but so relieved once it was done and I was discharged. The discharge advice was very clear, I had all the medication I needed - in fact I didn't even need to use all of it because my recovery has been so quick. I'm a little bit shocked (in a good way!) at how easy it has been. 

I will strongly recommend any woman to be cared for by the RHW, you are all exceptional people who do often thankless and difficult work.

There can be a lot of uncertainty when having an operation and I am so pleased we were able to support you during your journey. Our staff are highly specialised and work hard to provide compassionate and person-centred care, and we believe every patient deserves this high standard of care.
