"Nurses Station, Yalgoo, Western Australia"

About: Yalgoo Health Centre

(as the patient),

I cut my hand using a chainsaw while camping,  damaging my thumb and index finger.   Thankfully Nurse Michelle was able to clean the wound, then stitch the top of the index finger where there was a large gash and very little skin to work with.  The thumb skin was able to be glued back together.  She was extremely efficient and very attentive to my well being throughout the process.  I was so relieved that I didn't have to travel further to access care.  She even called me the following day to check on my progress.

Dear Yalgoowood

Thank you for sharing your story on Care Opinion following your visit to the Yalgoo Nursing Post.

It was truly uplifting to read about the compassionate and skilled care you received from Michelle during what must have been a very painful experience. Your kind words reflect the high standard of care that Michelle, and all our dedicated staff at our Nursing Posts, strive to provide every day.

Michelle’s commitment to her patients is deeply valued by the Yalgoo community, and we will ensure her exceptional work is formally recognised and celebrated.

We wish you a smooth and speedy recovery and hope you’ll be back enjoying the outdoors soon, chainsaw in hand, but perhaps with a little extra caution!

Take Care

Jody
