"Manage my care"

About: Royal Perth Hospital

(as the patient),

I’ve been attending specialist appointments at RPH for years and only recently became aware of the app. It saves me so much time and stress and helps me not accidentally miss appointments. Wish someone had shown me it long ago. Where’s the advertising for it? One thing confuses me - why can I use it to reschedule some appointments but not others. Please make it for all. And why aren’t my pathology appointments on there? Good to see the government finally getting with the times and providing modern digital options

Dear velard94

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us.

The Western Australian Department of Health has information about the Manage My Care app here, which you may find useful. Additionally, Royal Perth Hospital distributes pamphlets containing step-by-step instructions for setting up the app. These pamphlets are included with most appointment letters and are also available on-site.

Manage My Care is managed by the Department of Health and is designed specifically for outpatient clinic appointments. The app does not currently cover:

- Diagnostic and imaging appointments (e.g. pathology/blood tests or scans)

- Elective surgery and booked admissions

- Private health appointments

We have shared your story with the Department of Health team for their awareness and in case they wish to respond.

We truly appreciate your input, and we’re glad to hear the app has helped make things a bit easier for you.

Kind Regards

Ben Noteboom
