"Amazing MGP Margaret River"

I was lucky enough to have the women at MGP Margaret River follow me for two of my pregnancies and births. The continuity of care was so helpful and allowed me to have beautiful relaxing experiences.

Cat followed me for my first birth and was great in ensuring I birthed independently and without intervention which was the upmost important to me. The care I received at home post partum was also supportive and caring. 

Cat continued to care my second pregnancy but had to finish due to personal reasons but I was taken on by a few different midwives in the MGP. There were only 6 at the time so I got to meet them all and they were all wonderful women whom I felt comfortable with. I was assigned mainly with Annabelle and she was so kind and helpful. I really appreciated her attention to detail.

During my second labour at Margaret River hospital Annabelle guided me through several decisions that had to be made but I felt really supported by her without her intervening too much. I really appreciated the care she gave me.

I had to be moved to Busselton Hospital 12 hours into the labour and Allana from the MGP followed me there. This was so helpful and amazing and allowed me to have the birth that I wanted. When Allana arrived not long after I had she was in charge of the room and could tell all the health care providers what I needed and wanted. This was so important to me because it meant I could just relax and focus on birthing my baby. I had an amazing second birth and everything happened perfectly.

I am so grateful to all the women in the MGP Margaret River program for supporting me through both pregnancies, births and post partums. I truly believe that the MGP is the reason I had wonderful experiences and had beautiful happy little babies because of that. Thank you so much 🙏
