To the Community Assessment Unit, Prince of Wales Hospital

I want to sincerely thank all the staff—doctors, nurses, and support teams—for the exceptional care I received during my stay.

Lucy, Beth, and Emma were friendly, professional, and compassionate, while also guiding the trainee nurses from Notre Dame College with skill and kindness. Brenton introduced himself with warmth and went above and beyond to ensure my comfort in his role of the Nursing Unit Manager.

The next day, Sarah led the team with calm professionalism, managing different situations with grace while still providing me excellent care. Richelle was incredibly reassuring, skilled, and compassionate—especially with older patients like me—and made me feel safe, heard, and supported. Her knowledge and genuine care built strong trust and ease.

The whole team showed a remarkable mix of skill, empathy, and clear communication. I'm truly grateful to have been cared for by such exceptional people and deeply grateful for the extraordinary teamwork, empathy, and expertise you all bring to your work every day. Thank you for everything.

Thank you for your providing your positive experience whilst being a patient in the POWH Community Assessment Unit (CAU).

It is heart-warming to see the person-centred care you received has left a positive memory for you. It is also great to see the level of professionalism within the team, including the support of university nursing students on placement, who would have observed the skilled, empathetic and compassionate care you witnessed and received whilst being in the CAU.
