"Beautiful Homebirth through CMP"

About: King Edward Memorial Hospital / Community Midwifery Program

(as a parent/guardian),

My daughter very recently delivered her baby at home and it was just a wonderful experience.

She suffers from extreme medical anxiety and her midwife Malita who is part of the amazing CMP team worked so hard with her to create a wonderful calm reassuring experience not only during her pregnancy but at the birth too.  It was the most beautiful water birth of a nearly 4.5 kg baby! The environment was calm and yet exciting and we all felt so safe in Malita’s capable hands .  Alice the support midwife was just amazing too providing calm gentle encouragement when needed.

I will be forever grateful for the care you gave to my daughter, her partner and family x Thankyou ❤️

Dear golftk55,

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your kind words of appreciation for the care your daughter received from the Community Midwifery Program (CMP). I am delighted to hear Malita and Alice were able to provide a calm and reassuring environment for what sounds like a truly magical home birthing experience for your daughter and her family.

We will be sure to pass on your thanks to Malita, Alice and CMP team for the positive impact their care had on your family.

Best wishes,

Delaney
