"MGP5 Experience"

About: King Edward Memorial Hospital / Maternity

(as the patient),

We had an incredible experience with the Midwifery Group Practice (MGP5) program for our first pregnancy, and we’re so grateful for the care we received. Having continuity with the same midwife throughout made such a difference — we felt genuinely supported, listened to, and empowered every step of the way. Our midwife was kind, knowledgeable, and always took the time to explain things clearly and respect our preferences. When it came time to give birth, we felt calm and confident knowing we had someone we trusted by our side. The personalised care we received made our first pregnancy feel safe, positive, and truly special — based on our experience, we can’t recommend MGP enough.

Dear echobn75,

I was so pleased to read about your positive experience with our Midwifery Group Practice (MGP) 5. I am so glad to know that you and your partner felt safe, supported, and well cared for throughout your journey. It’s clear that having the same midwife, who knew you and your needs, was so reassuring and comforting to you.

Thank you for taking the time to share your appreciation – the fact that you would recommend the MGP is a testament to our team and the wonderful care they provide.

Best wishes,

Delaney
