"Prince of Wales Respiratory and Infections Team and follow up care"

About: Prince of Wales Hospital / ASB 3S - Community Management Centre

(as the patient),

I was admitted to POWH respiratory infection ward with pneumonia. When I was discharged from hospital I had the backup for a week with the oximeter at the Community Management Centre and it reported on vital readings like temperature, and oxygen saturation level, it was really good. Having just completed care by the Prince of Wales Respiratory and Infections Team. I would like to commend them. They were really, really wonderful. Great help for me. I had it for 4 days and I’m almost completely right now. Everybody was wonderful, from the person who delivered the goods and to the person just before I was discharged. Supportive, knowledgeable and encouragable.

Hello woodpigeonwq43

Thank you for taking your time to provide your positive feedback from your experience with the Community Management Centre (CMC).

It is wonderful you were able to be safely cared for by the CMC team in your home after your admission with the Respiratory and Infectious Disease teams. It is also great to see everyone who cared for you has left a positive memory with you.

I hope you have recovered well.

Kind regards,

Justin O'Hare

Nursing Co-Director, POWH
