"Empowered natural birth"

About: Margaret River Hospital / Maternity Department

(as the patient),

This was my second time under the care of the Margaret River MGP group. I was lucky enough to have Wendy as my caregiver in the final stages of my pregnancy and her knowledge and guidance was invaluable. She helped me manage my platelets to ensure they were at a safe level and listened to my birthing wishes, which had not previously happened in my prior two pregnancies. I felt empowered with her support and finally had the birth I had dreamed of under her care. My recovery has been much easier and I attribute that to having such a successful birth. The continuity of care you receive from the MGP group is essential, especially if you have medical needs such as low blood platelets. This program is an asset to the community and I cannot recommend the Margaret River MGP and Wendy enough.
