My child was admitted to the Broome Hospital Paeds ward with suspected Septic athritis. Their symptoms were not being able to walk without pain and they also had vomitting.
I found the Dr that spoke to me to be very condescending when I asked questions.
I only discovered after my child's discharge that a Dr had written in their notes that they had diarrhoea, at no point did my child have diarrhoea. I also discovered after their discharge that they had rotavirus and Strep. Nobody from the hospital informed me of that. My concern is should a Dr of called me to inform me of this? The only way I found out about this was through My health record.
Very disappointed
