"My son being flown to Perth for an injury and organising travel and accommodation at short notice."

About: Patient Assisted Travel Scheme - WACHS Kimberley

(as a parent/guardian),

Broome PATS Team,

I would like to extend my sincere thanks to everyone involved in coordinating my son's recent trip to Perth. Your support and efficiency in arranging everything at such short notice were truly appreciated. I’m especially grateful for the care and consideration shown in ensuring my son received the most supportive care possible following the decision not to proceed with surgery, and for helping us return home promptly (on a Sunday) so I could be with my other children.

Thank you again for your invaluable assistance. I really appreciate it.

Dear rhinokk88,

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your kind words and positive experience with the Broome PATS team.

We’re truly pleased to hear that our team was able to support you and your son during what must have been a stressful and uncertain time. Coordinating urgent travel and accommodation can be challenging, and we’re glad we could help make the process smoother for you. It’s especially heartening to know that our efforts helped you return home promptly to be with your other children.

Your feedback means a great deal to us and will be shared with the team—it’s always encouraging to hear that our work is making a difference for families in the Kimberley.

Wishing your son a smooth and steady recovery.

Warm regards,

James Sherriff
