"Assistance from Emergency Department Doctor"

About: Hedland Health Campus / Emergency Department

(as the patient),

Dr Chris has helped me before and encouraged me to return if I needed further support. He explains things clearly and in a way that’s easy to understand.

I’d been waiting ~5 weeks to hear from the Physiotherapist. I have a chronic knee injury and need treatment before returning to work. When we spoke with reception, they said my referral needed more information and suggested I contact the specialist. Since the original referring specialist is overseas for a few weeks, I asked Dr Chris for help. He wrote a new referral, phoned ahead to the team, and included details from my MRI. This was a huge help—especially as we discovered my original referral had been closed for unknown reasons. Without Dr Chris’ help, I might still be waiting for a response.
