"Great care in Tom Price and Karratha Hospitals"

After having a fall in Karijini NP my husband took me to Tom Price Hospital where we were seen straight away . The took an xray and spoke to Karratha Hospital about getting a CT Scan done . The doctor and nurses were amazing and at all times felt safe and informed. I had 5 staples in my head also and a small cut on my leg . This happened in the am . 

By 4 pm I was in an ambulance to Paraburdoo and then a RFDS flight to Karratha. 

Once at Karratha they organised a CT Scan and I had it done that night . Once it was confirmed I had a C2 Fracture a temp brace was put on . The next morning the physio came and saw me about getting a better brace put on . The staff at Karratha are very caring . Especially since I was on my own as my husband was driving with the caravan from Tom Price . 

During the fitting of my brace I become very stressed but the two physio that fitted it were amazing, especially the young male . He helped me through it and calmed me down . We are both very grateful for the service of all the staff at Tom Price Hospital, Karratha Hospital and the physio department and also the wonderful care given by the ambo and RFDS . 

The doctor at Tom Price was only there two weeks and can’t remember his name . But Dr Jennifer and Dr Marcus At Karratha Hospital were both wonderful caring and informative.
