Recently I was admitted to the Bunbury APU for suicidal ideation regarding stress financially and being stalked/hacked by an unwell family member.
Upon not wanting to discuss the specifics of this case which had 1. Resolved and 2. Traumatised me, the doctor seemingly was decided I was delusional and put me on the mental health act when I presented voluntarily and had absolutely no qualms with obeying treatments. I simply denied discussing this case.
Following that the doctor kept insisting on bringing up the topic and prying when I believe they had no reason to focus on it only triggering paranoia for good reason.
I will note, I’d had episodes of psychosis from low b12 prior to admission however the stalker was unrelated!
Dr has moved on and nearing 3 weeks later I’m still stuck in the ward under the act and my mental health has improved, now only to decline as I go crazy with being trapped in a clinical prison.
I believe that this doctor’s behaviour was completely inappropriate and inconsiderate as I believe they can go home and sleep in their normal bed while I sleep on an oversized gym mat!
