(as the patient),

I had day surgery and wanted to acknowledge the awesome nurses, in particular Bren. 

I have a hard time coming out of anaesthetic some times, which happened and Bren was a constant source of reassurance and kindness that helped me get through it. She explained everything and answered any concerns that I had with care compassion.
