"Overnight patient"

About: Bunbury Hospital

(as the patient),

I was a recent overnight patient & having nursed there myself, in the past, expected numerous changes.  The one thing that hadn't changed was the high quality of the nursing care.  All 4 of us in the room experienced exceptional attention from well organised and friendly staff.  I feel the Junior doctors were careless in writing up usual medications however, & I believe they could have caused serious errors by not consulting me directly about my usual doses. A bit disappointing.

Dear Retired Nurse,

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are delighted to hear that you and your fellow patients experienced exceptional and attentive nursing care during your stay, and we truly appreciate your recognition of our staff’s commitment.

We do, however, take your concerns about the medication documentation very seriously. To ensure your safety and satisfaction, we encourage you to contact our Consumer Liaison team directly on 9722 1521 or via email at swfeedback@health.wa.gov.au. They would be happy to discuss your experience further and work with you to address any issues.

Thank you again for your valuable feedback and wishing you a speedy recovery.
