I would like to express my gratitude to Midwifery Group Practice- especially Rebecca, for her outstanding care throughout my pregnancy journey.
Rebecca was nothing short of amazing throughout my whole journey.
Her professionalism, ability to educate me (even as a second time parent), care of my birth plan & compassion was incredible.
This has been my second time to birth through the Midwifery group Practice at King Edward’s & if I wasn’t already sure the first time that it made a difference I sure am now… I had said from my first experience that having the same midwife (& back up midwife) throughout my journey made such a difference in giving me confidence & support the whole way through.
Throughout my labour I felt deeply supported with my birth plan followed through each step of the way.
I was lucky enough to have a quick birth with The environment made calm, positive & reassuring by Rebecca (& helper Liana).
Both myself & my husband couldn’t believe how quick & calm it all went. Both ladies also fully including & keeping my husband informed & part of the process too.
I was discharged the following day & my aftercare continued at home for the next few days with home visits from Emma (as Rebecca was delivering some more babies). Emma also was so lovely, reassuring & very knowledgeable.
Overall I felt safe, respected & well cared for every step of my journey. The genuine care from Rebecca, Buddy Belinda, Emma & everyone I saw at MGP was evident from every appointment I had attended throughout pregnancy, labour & postnatally.
Based on my experience I feel this level of care is incredible & should be available to all women giving birth here in WA.
