"Midwifery group practice experience"

About: King Edward Memorial Hospital / Maternity

(as the patient),

I was so grateful to be part of MGP4 for my first pregnancy. I believe Paula is incredibly knowledgeable, competent, warm and patient. She advocated for me when I was symptomatic of iron deficiency but did not meet all the criteria to have one through the hospital. I felt validated and cared for.

Whilst Paula was my primary midwife, i did see a couple of other midwives when she was on leave. They were well-informed and up-to-date with any antenatal issues I was experiencing. Communication was great and it was easy to arrange and reschedule appointments.

Based on my experience, I would highly recommend the Midwifery Group Practice to any birthing mother.

Dear NewMum2025,

I was so pleased to read about your positive experience with our Midwifery Group Practice (MGP) 4. It's clear from your feedback that you felt truly validated and cared for by your primary midwife, Paula. We will be sure to pass on your thanks to Paula.

Thank you for taking the time to share your appreciation for the service – the fact that you would recommend the MGP is a testament to our team and the wonderful care they provide.

Best wishes,

Delaney
