(as the patient),

Shout out to the staff of the children’s ward at Geraldton Hospital they are all lovely! Especially Stuart and Tash for taking great care of me and the other patients. I spent almost a week in the children’s ward with a suspected stuck gallstone and they were all so caring and kind! A lovely PSA unfortunately I didn’t get her name even went above and beyond for me while I was in hospital. She noticed I was heading for a shower and said wait I will quickly clean it so you can have a shower in a clean shower. Then I will clean your room while your in the shower. She made my day! Everyone was so happy and friendly.

It is clear that all the staff across the Geraldton Health Campus have put your wellbeing at the centre of all their efforts. I was delighted to read how well Stuart and Tash were looking after you and your roommates in the Children’s Ward. The efforts of the PSA in ensuring you had a clean shower to use and a clean room to come back to highlight the great efforts the PSA’s put in to provide a welcoming environment for our inpatients. I will make sure your kind words are shared with everyone that played a part in your care. I will add my appreciation here of the great work all the staff across the campus and in the community do to ensure those that need care and support have access to the best we can do.

I hope you have recovered from your suspected gallstone and are feeling well.
