"My terrible experience"

About: Calvary North Adelaide Hospital

(as the patient),

I had surgery this morning and came to Calvary North Adelaide Hospital, but my experience was extremely disappointing. I requested a private room but was given a shared one instead. On top of that, I had been fasting since the night before my surgery, yet dinner service was between 5–6 pm. At 6:30 pm they brought me only a small sandwich and told me that was my dinner because the chef had already left and the kitchen was closed. I was shocked. I had ordered something else, and I felt this was completely unacceptable. I became very upset and even cried because of what I felt was the poor care and lack of consideration.

Eventually, they brought me a few extra items just to make me full, but the whole experience was extremely disappointing and stressful. This is not the level of care I expected from a hospital. I believe that patients deserve dignity, proper meals, and clear communication, not to be dismissed like this.
