(as the patient),

I was recommended to have a Lung Biopsy and was booked in at Royal Perth Hospital R Block for the procedure. I was very apprehensive prior to the procedure, due to stories I've heard in the past. This was all forgotten about from the time I was first admitted by the lovely admin staff to the orderly that escorted me to my room. Although the day surgery area was extremely busy, I was attended to at regular intervals, which provided me reassurance, I wasn't forgotten. The Dr preforming the procedure was most reassuring and explained the whole procedure clearly, which also provided confidence in his ability. The procedure went to plan and I didn't experience any pain or side affects during or after the procedure. Thanks to the Respiratory Medicine team for your wonderful care on the day of my procedure.
