About: SMHS Rehabilitation In The Home (RITH)

(as the patient),

I broke my knee falling at home and attended an ER - being discharged without any idea of how I was going to care for myself as I live alone and was only given a zimmer frame which was totally inadequate to get around without further injuring myself. A visit from a member of the RITH team helped me by supplying a more suitable mobile aid so I was able to get around my home safely. I further hired a wheelchair which helped even more. They saved my life.

Dear errandxt35,

Thank you for providing feedback about how the RITH team were able to help you following your hospital presentation to the Emergency Department.

We are pleased that the service was able to assess your needs in your own home and help you find a suitable mobile aid to assist you getting around your home safely and independently.

We will pass your feedback onto the teams. We wish you all the best for any further recovery.

Kind Regards

Hannah Whiting

A/Executive Director
