"Thank you for your care and compassion"

I was transferred from another hospital after a very traumatic experience.

The staff at Leongatha Hospital were all amazing. Within an hour of my admission, I had been reviewed by the doctor on duty, the nursing staff and the physiotherapist. Effective analgesia was provided, and I was able to sleep. 

At all times the staff I saw were respectful, kind and professional. There were no decisions regarding my care without consultation and communication with me. I was reviewed every day and a clear plan made. I will always be grateful for the care and compassion provided to me and my family. 

I need to also thank the staff from the kitchen who went above and beyond. As a vegetarian the menu was limited for me. I was consulted and my specific likes were catered for.

Thank you for being a centre of excellence for the local community of Leongatha.
