My toddler has pneumonia and they're admitted in hospital with their other parent. I was just visiting with my baby who is only 5 months old until visiting hours were over but an nurse and the manager that was on call today. They both walk into our room in the ward and pushed my 5 month old baby out the door and left them there with no one to watch them seemingly like they're nothing and told my partner with, in my opinion, anger they need to pack and leave the hospital grounds, when it’s visiting hour.
Not the first time these two made me feel threatened! They did it twice, I felt bad for my kids I felt really upset that I wanted to leave with my toddler! I feel they're not nice to me.

We are sorry to hear of your recent experience whilst visiting our hospital.
No one visiting our hospital should be made to feel uncomfortable or unsettled whilst they are here.
Please know it is never our intention for any parent or family member to feel unwelcome, especially during such a difficult time.
We want to ensure we work together to maintain a safe, respectful, and supportive environment for all patients, families, and staff.
Whilst we have designated visiting hours with expectations for supporting these hours, so our patients also get their much-needed rest we want to ensure we speak to visitors respectfully when advising them visiting hours have ended.
Your concerns have been noted, and we are committed to fostering an environment built on mutual respect and compassionate care.
Respectful communication when asking relatives/visitors to leave the ward as visiting hours has ended will be discussed with our staff.
