"Emergency Department - Amazing high-quality compassionate care"

About: Fiona Stanley Hospital / Emergency Department

(as a parent/guardian),

My son fell very ill on the Bibbulmun track. After collecting him in the dark in the bush, we arrived at FSH ED thinking it was dehydration and food poisoning. While waiting, he deteriorated quickly and the waiting room nurse was right on it. He was swiftly moved into the treatment area and the medical and nursing staff in the ED team were amazing - it was a tough few hours but the quick initiation of treatment and diagnoses of rhabdomyolysis was brilliant and saved my son from a possible terrible outcome.

At all times they were professional, knowledgeable, experienced, calm and caring. All of them were so happy and pleased when my son responded well to the treatment. My husband and I can't thank you all enough.
