"Infant ED care"

About: Busselton Health Campus / Emergency Department

(as a parent/guardian),

I just want to shout out the folks at Busselton Health Campus emergency care, in particular Nurse Rod. I brought my three month daughter in with colic like symptoms, and was seen to straight away. I was made to feel comfortable and reassured even when I thought I was maybe being an over reactive cautious parent. When her symptoms persisted the following evening I took her back. Again I was triaged quickly, and Rod remembered me from the previous night and took me through. I was so grateful for the swift care and nurturing nature from the staff. Thanks for settling an anxious first time parents worries!

Hello sambach43,

Thank you for taking the time to let us know about your recent experience at Busselton Health Campus ED.

It sounds like a very a stressful time for you and your family. Coming to the emergency department for any reason can be very scary - especially if it is your 3 month old child. It is really great to hear that you felt listened to and that your concerns were taken seriously.

Please know that I will ensure that your kind words regarding Rob are fed back to him.

I hope that your little one is recovering well and that you are getting some sleep!

Kind regards,

Gemma Moyes

Acting Director of Nursing - Busselton Health Campus.
