"Midwifery Group Practice Northam"

About: Avon Valley Midwifery Group Practice

(as the patient),

I wanted to share my positive experience with the Midwifery Group Practice from Northam. I was first assigned to one midwife, but she left town halfway through my pregnancy. Despite that, my appointments continued smoothly, and all the midwives I met were incredibly caring and supportive.

Every time I messaged them, they responded promptly and with genuine care. When I had issues with a doctor in Midland (as I was doing shared care), the Northam midwives called me straight away and offered amazing support. They even helped me when I called at 4 a.m. and continued to check in afterward to see how I was doing.

After giving birth, they visited me at home and took the time to answer all my questions during long, reassuring appointments. I truly cannot fault them. Every one of them was wonderful!

Congratulations on the arrival of your baby. Welcoming a new life is such a special time, and I’m delighted to hear that your experience with the Avon Valley Midwifery Group Practice team helped make your journey one of support, care, and reassurance.

Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughtful feedback. It is heartening to know that, even with changes in your allocated midwife, the team ensured your care continued seamlessly and that you felt genuinely cared for throughout your pregnancy. Your description of their responsiveness, compassion, and follow-up after birth reflects exactly what we strive to achieve through our woman-centred midwifery model.

I will be sharing your message with the Northam midwives, I know they will be touched and proud to hear that their commitment and kindness made a meaningful difference for you and your family.

Thank you for allowing us to be a part of your journey. We wish you and your family every happiness in the months ahead.

Warm regards,

Basil Paulose
