"Birth story"

About: King Edward Memorial Hospital / Maternity

(as the patient),

I had my second birth at KEMH and it was amazing compared to my first at another hospital. Felt like I was getting the same resources but way better support. The nurses, midwife's and drs were all amazing to me and my family. I was given the opportunity to rest during my birth and wasn't being coached the whole time. I was supported through all my choices with no judgement from any staff. Genuinely a much better experience and I loved getting to know my MGP midwife's Ginny and Steph before the birth and having them support me after as well ❤️

Dear piscesqg75

Thank you so much for taking the time to share such kind words and thoughts about your birthing experience at King Edward Memorial Hospital (KEMH). At KEMH we aim to provide excellent compassionate care, and I am so happy to hear how cared for and empowered you felt. It will give me a great deal of pleasure to pass on your generous comments to the Midwifery Group Practice midwives, Ginny and Steph, for the positive impact they had on your second birth.

Best wishes,

Delaney
