"Hospital in the Home Care at Wonthaggi."

About: Hospital in the Home (Bass Coast Health)

(as the patient),

I was transferred back to Wonthaggi Hospital from The Alfred hospital via RFDS late on a Wednesday evening.  The two paramedics were absolutely wonderful in their care of me during the trip home.

I had to present to Wonthaggi HITH the next morning to register for this program where my wife and I were warmly welcomed by Shannon who met us at the front windows. We were brought into the waiting area where we were met by a friendly face whom I had spoken with over the phone the previous evening. This was Liam, who was the NUM and was very kind and reassuring.

I cannot speak highly enough of the warmth and expertise and friendly experience that I've had with the the nurses and staff here.

If you have to get sick, this is the place to do it!

To Liam, Jenna, Carli, Di, Anna, Joyce, Kim and Marilyn and Dr James, I wish to extend my deepest gratitude and thanks for the wonderful care, reassurance, fun and laughter you have shown me. To Joyce, thank you for all your lovely smiles and encouraging words about my man bag, the biscuits and cheese and a cup of tea for my wife.

Hope to see you all again but at a Country Market or down the Street somewhere.

Kindest regards

S2020
