"161 Business Days and counting for FOI Documents.."

About: Wheatbelt Health

(as the patient),

After a horrible experience in late pregnancy with senior management from the Avon Valley MGP (I will be detailing this in a seperate complaint), I was advised to request freedom of information documentation.

I was advised this would take roughly 40 business days to recieve. I recieved my letter of acknowledgement of payment several months ago from a senior staff member in WACHS Wheatbelt FOI office.

Since, I have tried a few times to call the office and have been unable to get hold of anyone. After a few emails I finally recieved a reply a little over a month ago, stating I would have the requested and paid for documentation the following week. Nothing has come through and we are edging close to mid-October now.

Over 160 business days and counting, and I still do not have my freedom of information documentation. This is just not good enough, and has caused me further stress, in addition to the time I have had to invest chasing this up.
