On Sunday while moving wood I was bitten twice in my hands by two bull ants. My tongue and face swelled up, my heart was racing and my body started to itch all over. My husband took me to UCC at GSHS. I was very promptly seen and monitored on a machine. Ellen the RN was amazing. She was very calming while she hooked me up and liaised with Dr Allan. Their professional manner was exceptional. I was given treatment and able to leave after 3 hours, and had then become almost symptom- free.
