(as a parent/guardian),

I want to highlight some incredibly warm and kind staff that I experienced when attending Dongara emergency department after hours recently. My 2-year-old son suddenly became unwell, which was quite scary when in an unknown town and away from home. He was looked after so incredibly well by two nurses, and an on-call doctor. I want to say a big thank you for your beautiful care, it was a positive experience for us both.

As a mother myself, I can truly understand how worrying it must have been when your son was unwell and you didn’t yet know what was wrong. It was heart-warming to read that you both felt supported by the kind and compassionate nursing staff and the telehealth doctor during such a stressful time.

Your lovely feedback has been shared with the teams at Dongara and Telehealth, so they know the difference they made for you and your son.

I hope he’s now fully recovered and doing well.
