"Birthing with the Broome MGP team"

The MGP team at Broome Hopsital are absolutely amazing. Due to unforeseen circumstances, I ended up seeing most of the midwives equally. Everyone on the team was extremely supportive and caring, and I felt very safe in their hands.

I would like to specifically thank Georgie, who helped bring my second son into the world. Whilst I had a good birthing experience with my first son, it was nowhere near as easy or as fun as the birthing experience I had with Georgie’s help. Georgie empowered me and helped me laugh my baby out. She supported me at every stage and helped me listen to my body. She guided me so I had minimal injury and went above and beyond to help me with my postpartum recovery. I couldn't have asked for a better birthing experience! I feel extremely lucky to have had Georgie’s support through labour and beyond, and couldn’t speak more highly of her.

Having the team come out to my home to check on myself and bub postpartum has been amazing and has made it so much easier to recover and settle into newborn parenthood again.
