"My 6 year old son receiving OT under the Alert Program group session to help with his emotional regulation"

About: Allied Health

(as a parent/guardian),

My 6 year old son attended 3 group sessions under the OT Alert Program with Jayden. The sessions were the appropriate amount of time with great activities to transition through. Jayden was extremely kind and inviting to my son which made him feel very welcome and want to attend the sessions. In my sons words “Jayden was the best and he helped me self regulate myself and get through my emotions when I’m feeling sad, angry or even frustrated”.

Thank you so much for sharing your experience with the Alert Program and Jayden’s support. It’s wonderful to hear that your son felt welcomed and engaged during the sessions. Emotional regulation is such an important skill, and we’re thrilled that he found the strategies helpful and empowering.

Jayden’s dedication to creating a safe and supportive environment truly reflects the values we strive for in our Allied Health team. Hearing your son say, “Jayden was the best and he helped me self regulate myself and get through my emotions when I’m feeling sad, angry or even frustrated,” is incredibly heartwarming and a testament to the impact of the program.

We appreciate your feedback and are so glad your son had a positive experience. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you need any further support or resources.

Warm regards,
James Sherriff
