"Birthing at the hospital"

About: Karratha Health Campus / Maternity Unit

(as the patient),

2024 I had my first child at Karratha health campus. The birth went smoothly and I really enjoyed the experience so much so I’m already having my second 2025.

The midwives were amazing.

Suggestions for improved service is:

- incorporate the local lactation specialist on the ward to do check-ins before discharge

- better temperature control of the rooms

Dear Patient6714

Thank you for sharing your experience at Karratha Health Campus. It’s great to hear your first birth went smoothly and that our midwives made such a positive impact.

I appreciate your suggestions regarding lactation support and room temperature, both are valuable points that I’ll share with the team for review and consideration as we continue to improve our service.

Wishing you all the best for your upcoming birth.

Warm Regards,

Nhuan Ho
