"Attendance at Memory Clinic Block A"

About: Royal Perth Hospital / Memory Clinic

(as a friend),

My friend has early Alzheimers. Her first attendance at the clinic was last week. All staff were exceptionally kind and gentle. Professor Leon gave her the diagnosis so carefully and gently she was not upset. We, her accompanying support people, were very impressed with the thoroughness and helpfulness of all the staff.

Dear octansjz36,

Thank you for your kind and thoughtful feedback regarding your recent experience at our Memory Clinic.

We are deeply grateful that you took the time to share your impressions, especially during what we understand can be a challenging time. It is heartening to hear that your friend felt supported and cared for during their first visit, and that Professor Leon delivered the diagnosis with such compassion and sensitivity. We are also pleased to know that you and the other support people found the staff to be thorough, helpful, and gentle.

Your feedback will be shared with the relevant team members, including Professor Leon, so they know the positive impact they had. Kind words like yours are incredibly meaningful and serve as a reminder of the importance of empathy and excellence in care.

Thank you again for your generous message.

Kind Regards,

Dr Andrew Yeates
