"Support from RITH in Mandurah"

When I was discharged from hospital I was unaware that RITH was available to me. I was struggling to breathe and feeling very depressed about my sudden decline in health. When Dani came for a home visit, she gave me the support and advice that restored my confidence. With a pulmonary rehab specific home exercise plan and visits 3 times a week to guide me, I improved greatly over the 4 weeks I was supported.

The care and compassion I received from the staff at RITH was invaluable and I made a great deal of progress. I am now able to return to my previous pulmonary rehab class at Mandurah Community Health Centre. I also now have an emergency COPD action plan established with my G.P. as advised. The support from RITH staff made so much difference in my recovery.
